Values of FBC Smyer

  • We Worship God

“But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him” (John 4:23)

  • We Pray Fervently

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” (Philippians 4:6)

  • We Serve Faithfully

“Even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Matthew 20:28)

  • We Love Biblically

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.”(1 John 4:7)

  • We Give Joyfully

“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”(2 Corinthians 9:7)

  • We Gather Together

“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” (Hebrews 10:24-25)

  • We Grow in Christ

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.” (2 Peter 3:18)

  • We Go to the Lost

“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to keep all that I commanded you…”(Matthew 28:18-20)
